Opening weekend at the club, tough day at the office for Forklifts NZ POB Div2, damp conditions were tailor made for a Marist pack who were considerably larger in the tight five. End result 27 - 13.
The main game saw the Forde Auto Services POB Prems go done in a close game to 17 - 12 to Marist.
The POB Senior Cs had a good win against Pukerau 41 - 0. As usual Pukerau saved their best form for the after speech boat races.
