Weekend results... the Forde Auto Services/Windsor POB Premiers went down 6 - 3 in a hard fought game against Woodlands. Points wise they sit 2nd on the table however the team has a bye in the final round are in the position of waiting to see what the outcome of the other games are to find out if they make the Galbraith Shield semi finals. Star are the only team to have secured a semi final spot.

The big game: Highlanders 24 Chiefs 14.... The Highlanders will take on the Waratahs next week in Sydney...

The POB senior teams experienced the full range of results at the weekend:

Forde Auto Services/Windsor Phyio POB Prems had a big win over Blues, the Forklifts NZ/Harvey Tanks POB Div3 team drew with Albion - Excelsior and the Craftys Bar POB Cs lost 20 5 to Waikaia.

Senior games this Saturday...

The Forde Auto Services/Windsor Physio POB prems kickoff at 2pm out at Les George on Sat so head on out and give them some support.

The other POB senior games see the Craftys POB Cs hit the road to play Waikaia at Waikaia - 3pm kickoff. These boys know how to fill a bus and will have some sort of dress up theme as well.

The Forklifts NZ/Harvey Tanks POB Div3 team also hit the road to take on Albion Excelsior at the world famous #2 ground at the Gore Showgrounds at 3pm.

Big game for the Forde Auto Services/Windsor Physio Prems out at Les Goerge v Star as the dog eat dog scenario of 5 evenly matched teams trying to fit into the top 4 continues.

And meanwhile back at the clubrooms on Saturday night.... the 2nd running of the Hawkies Gold Cup will be held... this was a great event last year, get down and see how it goes. If you play your cards right you might end up backing a few winners. If the worst comes to the worst you might even end up on one of the horses.

Also lock in Sat 4 July for the long awaited Lip Sync night...

3pm at Les George Oval: Forde Auto Services/Windsor St Physio POB Premiers v Marist... always a big game on the calendar. The weather looks like it will be ok and the LG is always a good track to play on so get on out and support the boys in what will be the first of 3 decisive games to see who finishes where in the fight to make the Galbraith Shield top 4. After the game is over head back to the POB clubrooms where the fire will be hot and the beer will be cold.

3pm at Bluff: the Forklifts NZ/Harvey Tanks POB Div3 team head down to Bluff to take on last years Div1 champions.
